Dante's Inferno

Photobucket

Difficulty: A very easy trophy set to complete. Additionally, it is refreshing to not see any difficulty stipulations in the trophy set, which means you can play through the whole game on the easiest difficulty. The most difficult trophy is completing the Gates of Hell mode, which I was able to finish on my first playthrough, so even then it is not that daunting.

Time: The platinum took approximately 15 hours to complete. A breakdown of the time spent with the game is shown below:

First playthrough: 10 hours
Second playthrough: 4 hours
Gates of Hell: 1 hour

Expect to spend anywhere from 12-18 hours to acquire every trophy.

Tips: Poetry in Motion Trophy: This trophy can be accomplished two ways. The first way is to level your cross to level two allowing you to combo the cross projectile three time. Once this is done you can use the "kill 5 enemies in the air" challenge portion of the game to continuously link cross attacks on enemies for a 666 hit combo. Equipping the relic that increases the time you have in between attacks to continue your combo is also helpful.

The second way to complete this trophy is during your second playthrough. Once you reach the "infinite magic" challenge, change the difficulty level to the highest difficulty (inferno not hellish) and continuously spam the magic cross attack. I have tried to tackle this trophy on the first playthrough by setting it on hellish difficulty, but the max hits I accumulated on two attempts was 633. Therefore, I do not think this method is viable on the first playthrough.
